For this trick your lighter has to be in a lighter pouch attached to your belt. Make sure the lighter is sitting in the pouch with the hinges pointing at you. Then open the pouch and grab the lighter by it's lit, pull it out of the pouch and slide the bottom at the pouch very quick. Your lighter will open. Throw it in the air and let it make half a spin. A bit more difficult alternative would be to toss the lighter in the air, making it spin some rounds before landing in your palm. This spinning movement will alone cause it to open. Anyway, catch it and light it. Speed is essential!
