How to Share Information Between Two Gameboys:

1. Using the two methods below are the most common (and only!) ways to share information between Nintendo Gameboys.

2. Using the first method is the old fashioned way, but it is simpler to understand and use. The Link Cable, a licensed Nintendo Product, sells for about $15 dollars. You connect it to the two Gameboys by the outlets on their sides, and follow the procedure for doing what you need to do (trade, battle, etc.). The Link Cable can be used with all Gameboy systems (Gameboy, Gameboy Pocket, and Gameboy Color).

3. Using the second way is a little more modern and hi-tech, but you must have two Gameboy Colors to use it. On the top of your Gameboy Color, you will find a little black box. It is an infrared port. By holding the two Gameboy Colors is such a way that the two ports are close together and facing each other, and following the on-screen instructions, you can accomplish your goal. This port only comes on Gameboy Colors, so obviously you can only use this method if you have two Gameboy Colors.
