How do I change the alerts and sounds:

Messenger can notify you when it is your turn while playing a game: Click the Messenger menu in Messenger and select Preferences.

Select the Alerts & Sounds category.

1. Select the It is my turn in a Yahoo! Messenger game option and configure either a sound and/or notification when it is your turn.
2. Click the OK button at the bottom of the window.

Please Note: If you want to be notified with a sound, be sure that Enable alert sounds is checked in the Alerts & Sounds dialog box.

You can mute all Yahoo! Games sounds in Messenger: Click the Messenger menu in Messenger and select Preferences.

Select the Alerts & Sounds category.

1. Check the Mute Yahoo! Games sounds in Messenger by default option.
2. Click the OK button at the bottom of the window.

Please Note: Uncheck the option to disable the feature.
