To get some different sounds out of your guitar (although its not too loud), try taking a remote control (CD player, TV, whatever) and aim it - while at a close proximity - at your pickups and push different buttons. Different remots will give you different sounds. Try holding the buttons down even... it will give you a machine gun sound.
