1. Approach the obstacle (a low curb that slides well and has an end is good to start with) with your back to it, and at a parallel angle.
2. Execute a small ollie when you get near the obstacle, but don't level the ollie out.
3. Land with your rear wheels and underside of your tail pressed down on the edge of the curb, so you are nearly standing on one foot, your chest facing forward.
4. Lean back a little to slide. The faster you're going, the further you'll slide, and the louder the screech of your wheels will be.
5. Turn your hips back to your original riding position, set your wheels down, and roll away to come out of the trick.
