Fakie Ollie On A Skateboard

Skateboard Tricks

How to Do a Fakie Ollie on a Skateboard:

1. Remember that a fakie ollie is the same as an ollie. The only difference is the direction you're traveling in when you do the ollie.

2. Start rolling backward. Keep your head facing the way you're rolling so you can see where you're going.

3. Set your feet up as you would for a normal ollie, with your front foot a little bit further toward the tail to get more power.

4. Do the ollie motion, but pop the tail even faster than usual and suck it up faster than usual. Because you're traveling backward, when your tail strikes the ground, it may stop the board from moving, and your momentum will start to send you flying backward. So the faster you pop and suck the board up, the smaller the chance of that happening. You'll probably fall backward a few times while you learn the timing, though.

5. Keep your head facing the direction that you're traveling in. This may cause you to turn your board slightly in the air, so watch out for landing crooked.

6. Remember that when going up, down or over anything with this trick, you've got a whole board length more to travel (just like a nollie). Go fast and snap the tail hard.
