1. Practice just ollying into a frontside blunt-stall on a parking block to begin; this helps you become more comfortable with the body movements of the trick.
2. Roll toward the object as if you were going to do a frontside grind.
3. Ollie slightly higher than the obstacle and set your rear wheels down on top of it as you come down.
4. Keep the underside of your tail pressed against the outside of the obstacle (like a wheelie position, but with the wheels on top and the tail below the edge of the curb).
5. Lean back enough to lighten yourself, but not so much that you shoot the board out in front of you. Your center of gravity should be comfortably over the rear truck area.
6. Keep your shoulders facing the way you want to go, so when it is time to pop out, all you have to do is give a small ollie motion and catch your hips up with your shoulders.
