Put your heels together and your wheels in line for a tight turn.
1. Skate forward and begin leaning into a turn. Transfer most of your weight to your outside skate.
2. Lift up your inside skate and turn it to face the opposite direction.
3. Set your inside foot down heel to heel with your other skate and lean slightly forward.
4. Bend your knees and hold your arms out to the side for balance. Your toes should point in opposite directions, with all of your wheels basically in a straight line.
5. Turn until you are riding in the direction you want to go.
6. Lift up the skate that is pointing backward and set it down pointing forward.
